Key points

• Questionnaire & counselling: Data are processed to prepare optometric counselling. In the current product configuration there is no AI-based automatic evaluation; professional assessment is the optometrist’s responsibility.
• Health data: Many questionnaire fields may be special categories under Art. 9 GDPR — typically obtain consent and document it as withdrawable (Consent).
• Roles: Clarify controller (your practice) vs. platform / processor in contracts and customer-facing text.
• Rights & security: Data subject rights, technical & organisational measures, sub-processors, storage & deletion.
